What is LAMO®
LAMO® is a three part ecosystem made by gamers, for gamers, with gamers. The ecosystem includes 5" Stylized Vinyl Figures, the LAMO®: AR VINYL app and the free-to-play LAMO® game.
What is a LAMO® AR VINYL Figure?
A covetable collectible vinyl figure. Inside every box is also a single use QR code that unlocks a BattleBundle for the game (if you purchased it separately in the game it would cost roughly the price of the vinyl, so is a great deal). Very limited quantities will be available online at playlamo.com, and also at Target and Gamestop locations nationwide, beginning July 27th, 2019.
What is the LAMO®: AR Vinyl App?
The LAMO®: AR VINYL APP is a cool way for fans to track their collection, see what's new and experience exclusive AR content. The app is available on Apple and Android app stores beginning July27, 2019 and is free to download.
What is LAMO®: The Game?
A fast paced, free-to-play, online multiplayer party game with optional cosmetic upgrades available in the in-game store. Hyper-intense snack-sized rounds can be enjoyed back-to-back all day long, or played as quick pickup game between rounds of your other favorite online titles.

In LAMO, everything, including the world itself, is destructible and chaos is the name of the game. Outlast your opponents by blasting away the map, constructing massive attack towers, capturing vital control points, and raining destruction from your personalized hovercar. Play in Free-For-All and Team-based matches.

LAMO The Game will debut on PC in November 2019, with ports to mobile (IOS & Android) in early 2020 and major consoles in Mid 2020.

How do I create an account?
You can sign up using your Facebook or Twitch accounts or by providing an email address after you download and open the app.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
Yes, in order to unlock digital content via the one-time QR code or to experience certain AR animations you will need online access. A slow or intermittent connection can also affect the performance and presentation of the AR animations.
How do I scan the QR code?
  1. Select your LAMO
  2. Select the character silhouette
  3. Pull the tab back from the QR Card
  4. Scan the code
  5. Tap through the reward parade
  6. Return to the app screen select the link to the LAMO®: The Game
How do I access the augmented reality (AR) experiences?
  1. Select your LAMO
  2. Select the box or character silhouette
  3. Hold your device in front of the box or LAMO®: AR VINYL Figure
  4. The AR animations should begin automatically
  5. If the animations are not playing, make sure you are in a well lit area.
Can I purchase the LAMO®: AR VINYL Figures or digital skins for LAMO®: The Game within the LAMO®: AR VINYL APP?
No, you cannot purchase figures directly through the app but there is a link to the LAMO Store within the LAMO®: AR VINYL APP.
When scanning the box or figure for the AR experiences but nothing is happening, what can I do?
The app should automatically recognize the selected LAMO®: AR VINYL Figure or box. The primary cause of the AR experience not executing is due to low light. Try moving the figure or box into a more well lit space and attempt the scan again. The angle at which the phone is positioned to the figure or box can affect the scan as well. Try moving your device slightly back and forth in front of the figure or box to initiate the AR experience. Also note that currently, only the front of the LAMO®: AR VINYL Box initiates an AR experience.
Can I scan the QR code more than once?
The QR codes are one-time use. The QR code cannot be re-scanned once you have unlocked the digital content associated with the code.

What is the LAMO Battle Pass?
The LAMO Battle Pass lets players unlock and earn in-game items by playing the game, earning XP and completing gameplay challenges. The more you play, the more rewards you can earn. The LAMO Battle Pass is separated into two parts, FREE Pass and Battle Pass.

FREE Pass lets every player obtain the free rewards as they hit gameplay milestones and increasing their LAMO levels without any purchase necessary. Players that don’t purchase the LAMO Battle Pass will still unlock FREE content by playing the game.

LAMO Battle Pass is purchasable from within the game for 450 LAMO Coin. LAMO Coin is a premium currency obtained with real-world money via Steam payment. There will be no options to buy the LAMO Battle Pass directly with real-world money.

LAMO Battle Pass can be purchased in-game in the Shop, and once purchased all you will need to do is play the game and check your Battle Pass to see what rewards you are unlocking next.
Will I get to keep the content that I’ve unlocked from the LAMO Battle Pass after the season ends?
Yes, the items that are unlocked are permanently associated with you LAMO PlayFab account. You will have access to everything you unlocked before season end and can continue to use anything you’ve gained in subsequent seasons.
What are LAMO Coins?
LAMO Coin is the currency used inside of LAMO. You can purchase LAMO Coin on Steam and spend them in the Daily Shop to unlock new Skins, Portraits, Vehicles, Towers, and mech paints.

Will there be more maps?
As LAMO evolves, so too will the content and game modes. LAMO has adopted a season-based development schedule, and the game will be updated with new modes of play, additional characters, unique new features, more weapons and gear, skins, and even additional maps will be available at a later date.
Do rewards/skins affect gameplay?
Skins and unlockables do not affect game play, they will be cosmetic only.
What platforms will LAMO be on?
For Early Access, our focus is on readying the PC version for full release, but mobile players and console owners should know that we’ve already begun work on bringing LAMO to you in the future and we will announce more details at a later date.

What content will I receive if I purchase and scan a LAMO Vinyl into my account?
Each LAMO Vinyl scanned will unlock content associated with that character. You’ll unlock the purchased character as well as skins, vehicle skins, tower skins, and mech skins. New characters have their own unique weapons and ultimate abilities. Collect LAMO Vinyl figures to have a wider variety of weapon classes that fit your playstyle.

What if I am having trouble installing the game?

Where is the best place to submit bugs and feedback on LAMO?
The best way to report a bug is to send an email to support@playlamo.com - the information will be forwarded directly to our QA Team!

Please include the following:
  1. Please include the word BUG REPORT in the subject line so that we can find it quickly!
  2. Record the date and time (and time zone) that the bug occurred. It helps us track issues down.
  3. Did the bug happen once or can it be triggered multiple times (reproducible)?
  4. Please provide as much information as you can about the bug itself and the circumstances around it.

What is your policy on refunds?
Due to the nature of Free to Play games and our gameplay, we do not offer refunds for currency purchases of LAMO Coin.
What Engine is LAMO built in?
What languages are supported in LAMO the Game?
The game natively is in English. Currently the game has been translated in French, Italian, German, Spanish (Castilian), Spanish (LatAm), Brazilian Portugeuse, Russian, Polish, Japanese, and Korean. As the game expands, we’ll consider supporting new languages as the player-base grows in different regions.
Do I need an internet connection to play LAMO?
Yes, you will need a stable internet connection to be able to play LAMO The Game. If streaming the game at the same time as playing, please be aware that you will need a better connection to support the data being sent and received between the game servers AND the streaming service you use.
What regions are supported and have dedicated servers in them?
Currently we have servers in US West, US East, EU, and Asia. We are investigating adding South America to the list as well.

When will the game release out of Early Access?
When it’s ready?? ;) We’re aiming to leave Early Access in Q1 2020, once we’ve expanded the game, added more modes of play, introduced more characters to the roster, iterated on core gameplay based on community feedback, and built more content.
Is there a roadmap for the planned development?
Currently no, but we’ll be active on the Steam Forums to keep players up-to-date and will be posting announcements about updates and additions. As well, all communication will web out to our social channels as well, so please follow them all if you’d like to have maximum information on the game.

Are there plans for more maps? What are they?
Oh yeah! Absolutely yes!!! We have more plans and will be adding maps to a rotation down the road. As for what they are, you’ll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more info in the Steam Forums and Announcements.
Can I stream LAMO?
Yes, we’re very very pro-streaming and would love to have you broadcast your gameplay and create content with LAMO.
Why has my account been suspended?
If your account is suspended, it’s most likely due to violation(s) of the terms of service agreement. When suspicious account activity is reported or discovered through our investigations, we’ll take the necessary steps to suspend or ban offending accounts. The most common of the reasons include, but are not limited to, use of unauthorized third-party software or methods, such as cheats, mods (modifications), hacks, scripts, unauthorized plug-ins and/or automation software, to modify or manipulate the game or its functionality; purchases from third-parties; and refund fraud (forced refunding through purchase services). This gains an unfair advantage over other players and is not supported by the game developers.

If you discover your account is suspended and you think it may have been wrongfully suspended, you may submit an appeal to our support/customer service team by sending an email to support@playlamo.com. The following information is required:
  1. The full correct Username of your suspended account.
  2. The date you believe the account suspension occurred.
  3. A detailed description of the situation, preferably including screenshot(s).
A lamo support agent will get back to you as soon as they are able to. The response time may vary between a few hours and up to a few days, depending on the number of support requests. We kindly ask that you wait patiently.

Note: Please do not repeat questions regarding account suspensions in this server, as we (moderators, coordinators and community staff) are unable to assist with this in any way (we also do not have power to lift account suspensions), hence why we have a separate customer service department. Repeated failure to abide by this warning will be considered as trolling and we will therefore act accordingly, resulting in more advanced moderating measures being undertaken.
How can I report cheaters?
Should you encounter any kinds of bugs or technical issues during a match, please report them by clicking the Report button located at top-right and specifying it. Alternatively, in case the report failed or if you have any kind of important evidence, please contact the customer service by sending an email to support@playlamo.com.

The following information is required: A detailed description of the situation in text, preferably accompanied by screenshot(s) and/or video(s) showing the “cheating” taking place.
